Instructions for use: Connect the inspiratory and the expiratory line, and possibly the humidifier line (if present) to the relevant connectors, ensuring that the connections are tight and safe. Should condensate collection ampoules be used, they must be positioned vertically, constantly checking their fl uid level and emptying them when necessary. After this operation carefully reclose the ampoule screwing it down completely. Before ventilation of each single patient, ensure that there are no leaks, holes or occlusions in the catheter mount by carrying out a normal pressure test.
